A Hidden Escape in Palm Springs: Bubbling Wells Ranch & Desert Oasis

Your mineral springs getaway awaits in Palm Springs, California!

As you all know, I took a quick trip to Palm Springs last April to celebrate our girl's birthday.  It was my first trip of 2021 and to be honest, I was more than excited to see my friends after we all got our vaccinations.  Since moving to San Diego, I've been working from home and haven't really had the chance to explore due to COVID-19 restrictions in our area, so this was definitely a nice change.
I first flew out to Los Angeles on Saturday morning. Stopped by the famous Portos and after a few hours of preparing and grocery shopping, we finally hit the road on our way to Palm Springs.

The air bnb that we chose was Bubbling Wells Ranch & Desert Oasis located in 14250 YERXA ROAD DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA 92240.

This 100+ acre private property is enclosed and requires a code to get through the gates.  It boasts mineral spring waters that come from "Miracle Hill" along with beautiful views of Coachella Valley.

As you enter through the gate, you'll come across, "Yerxa Town" which resembles an old western/saloon that you see in movies.  In "Yerxa Town" you will find the front office staff and a nice community area where you would normally socialize to meet other guests.  To the left of it, was a beautiful green pond with a small boat.  For a moment, you can forget about being out in the desert and just enjoy the cool breeze.

As we made our way deeper through the private property, I noticed a few more casitas along the way.

Finally, we made it to "Sunset Casita" which was adjacent to another larger house that shares the mineral spring pools in the back.  We met with our air bnb guide/property manager who gave the rules of the house and entire property.  The guide was thorough and also informed us that each casita had their own pool which was awesome considering today's unprecedented events.  Thankfully though, we had the entire place to ourselves!

After being on the road for almost two hours, relaxing in the mineral springs was so worth it! As we walked further in the shared complex to check out the springs, we were greeted by all kinds of art which was scattered everywhere around the springs. Needless to say, we spent half our time there doing photoshoots - it was fun!

We spent the rest of the night huddled up in the jacuzzi and switching back and forth between the many pools.  The next day, we ate a hearty breakfast and made our way back to Los Angeles just in time to watch the sunset.

If you're interested in coming with friends or family, I highly recommend doing at least a 2 day stay to REALLY enjoy the property. We will definitely be coming back again, thank you Bubbling Wells Ranch!

Enjoy these photos from our quick trip and I hope they will inspire you to escape to the oasis.
